summer break in cornwall at round house barn

Take a deep breath - Summer breaks in Cornwall

Beneath the sands and in another time,
Langarrow is buried;
Between Pentire Point’s rocky headlands, Langarrow is sleeping;
By the grassy plateau of Rushy Green,
Langarrow is resting.

Mysterious flat rock with woman and words, who carved you?
‘Mar not my face but let me be’
‘in this lone cavern by the sea’
‘Let wild waves around me roar’
Langarrow is sleeping;

‘kissing my lips for evermore’
Langarrow is resting;
Beneath the sands and in another time,
Langarrow is buried.

Quotations from carving on rock
