Depending
upon the weather and tides the cruise may take you through the 70 miles of the
sheltered, castle-guarded Fal Estuary into the stunning wooded creeks of the Carrick
Roads. Along the way you may see, traditional oyster dredging, gig racing and
classic sail boats gracefully weaving through the harbor traffic.
The
cruise may take you along the magical Helford River famous for Daphne Du Maurier’s
‘Frenchman’s Creek.’
The
sea cruises run past picturesque St. Mawes and St. Anthony’s Head whilst and alongside
the gentle Roseland Peninsula with its renowned beautiful beaches to Portloe.
On the way there is plenty of opportunity to see seals, dolphins or the elusive
basking shark (in season), the world’s second largest fish.
