Austell is a delightfully challenging parkland course, made all the more demanding
when the wind picks up. The shape of this 18 hole, par 69 course grants a number
of fun holes for all abilities, courtesy of well-positioned trees and bunkers.
Shooting a good score will require some straight driving and some
even better approach shots. A refreshing mix of long par fives, testing par fours
and short, eye-catching par threes make for an enjoyable round of golf. Although
relatively short, first time visitors should treat St Austell with respect as
it provides a genuine test of golf to all.
